BG169G-4 Reviews

“Aesthetically Pleasing To The Eye…”

I just got this watch today. I cannot comment on water or durability resistance. Will update later on as I’m going on a trip soon where it’ll be put into the test (hence the four stars for today). I must also state that I didn’t get this opinion to use all of its functions. I bought it primarily for telling time during the day and evening, for the date, and for casual wear (including swimming). I chose this among the I researched mostly due to the color. Let me say, I do not like pink. Im into colours. . .brown, orange, green, etc.. That said, the watch came together with the true Casio cardboard box in a padded bag indoors. So that I was immediately fearful it was dented, but the watch was so no harm done in any way. The watch was set not to my time zone. The instruction booklet was contained. I found it effortless to understand and was able to set the date and time (to the second, really) fast and easily. According to many other reviews, the facial skin is mirrored. That could make it to be difficult to read in some lighting. I walked my house, inside and out, and had zero trouble. Simply transfer your wrist a smidge, in case the sun hits it a certain way, and poof, you may see the face. The rose gold on the face is quite attractive! It makes the watch wealthy looking (if thats possible for a game watch). The ring is a champagne, taupe, nude, beige color. (take your choice) but its certainly NOT pink or rose gold such as the face. It has a kind of sparkle finish. The ring is simple and flexible to wear. It seems comfortable on my 6 wrist. I dont feel like that the face is too large although that is a personal preference I suppose. There are small dancing animals in the day block when you press on the light. Not mandatory, but cute. The light does its job, is bluish, and goes out fast. As I said, once I wear this for my excursion, I will update and comment on the durability of sporting this everyday in sight-seeing, very hot weather, theme parks, and swimming pool. At this time, I totally recommend this watch. It seems functional and is unique in colour. ***Dec 2017 UPDATE***LOVE this watch! I wore it all Summer, including while swimming. I had no difficulties with it. The one issue I had was if it was time to dive for Daylight Saving Time. I misplaced the instructions and couldnt remember to correct the moment. That, of course, was my problem. . .had nothing to do with the watch. After I found the instructions, it was easy to alter the time. I changed my review to 5 stars. Go get you one!
